These young graduates manage the change processes that are inevitably initiated by the introduction of technology into their workplace and they have to manage the operational aspects of business and organizational activities founded on computing and communication technology, including the development of new computer based activities. The BCA programme aims in molding the students in a way that they will fit themselves to the competitive sphere of corporate by imparting working knowledge about computers, technical skills to use the computers effectively in developing commercial and scientific applications and interpersonal skills relevant to the environment .The program consists of 3 academic years divided into six semesters. The subjects of the curriculum are carefully prepared by eminent professors so that the student gets up to-date knowledge of the emerging technologies.
The course contains programming languages like C, C++, java, visual Basic. It also includes application and informative subjects like Data Base Management systems, Artificial Intelligence, Networking which are of prime importance in the present scenario. Students also have project work from fourth semester which they can do in college or other organizations. This exposes the students to the necessities of analysis, development and testing of software , which is the required for their future.
