Kalka Public school, Alaknanda, New Delhi-110019 under the aegis of Kalka Educational Society was founded in 1974 with a view of providing educational Facilities to its students purely on philanthropic motives and imparting a quality and value based education. The foundation stone of the new building was laid on 22nd March 1988 by Honorble Chief Minister of the Delhi Mrs. Sheila Dikshit, the then Minister of parliamentary affairs.Since then the school has always looked forward and has continued with a steady growth from a Nursery school. It is now fully centrally air conditioned senior secondary school(affalited to C.B.S.E) that provides a conducive and comfortable environment,wherein the students are unperturbed by the changing weather conditions and assist them to concentrate much better.
